You can share your charts via public link/iframe embed with a downloadable print for the viewers. In order to enable public print, please follow the below steps
- Open the chart that needs to be shared with a downloadable print.
- Click on the share icon in the top bar
- If you are currently using public links to share your chart, click on Link Sharing. If the link is not already created, then click on Create new public link. In case you are currently using an iframe embed to share your chart, click on Website Embed. And then click on the Settings (Gear) icon.
- In the Settings, click on the checkbox for Allow Public Print, select the print templates (created during a Print Settings session where the print templates are created, edited and saved). You can create a print template (if not already existing), by clicking on Create new print template. Click on Save Settings to request the public/iframe embed print generation and then close the Share dialog. Please make sure to copy the link, if not already copied.
- Now, click on the Print icon in the top bar to navigate to the Print Settings session and check the Print History for generated prints to complete. You can rename the prints by clicking on the pencil icon.
- After the prints have been generated, check the embedded chart/public link to check the generated prints. Please note that the prints won’t appear on the embedded chart/public link until it is complete (check Print History). These prints can be downloaded by clicking on the download icon.
- If the charts are updated regularly, then the prints would also need to be updated. So, ino order to that, the viewers can regenerate the print by clicking on the recycle icon (highlighted in the screenshot below). This will generate a new print using the same print template.
