Share your chart on Notion.so

Another secure way to share your chart with group of colleagues is to embed your chart on a page in Notion.so.

Notion.so is a team collaboration tool that bill’s itself as “... the connected workspace where better, faster work happens.” 

If you, use Notion and also use Organimi … you can embed your chart in a Notion Page by using the iFrame sharing capabilities of Organimi.

The trick to getting Notion.so to display your embedded chart is to whitelist all the servers where Notion could possibly host the page … and this also allows for the Notion desktop app to show the embedded chart.

There are 5 URL’s that you need to whitelist.

• https://embed.notion.co
• notion://www.notion.so
• https://www.notion.so
• https://notion.so

For the Chart you want to share on Organimi 

Click on the Sharing Icon to bring up the Chart Sharing Options dialog:

In the Chart Sharing Options dialog ... go to the "Website Embed" section and click the "Create New iFrame Code" button to set up a new iFrame ... then click on the settings button (the gear icon) to update the sharing settings.

Tweak the shared chart layout and access options as you see fit for the chart that will be shared via the iFrame.

Back at the Chart Sharing Options for the Website Embed ... make sure to enter the 5 URL's listed above one at a time to be added to the Whitelisted domains for this chart share ... this will cover the various ways and places that Notion will show the iFrame ... including in the Notion desktop application.

Once the URL's are in the whitelist and the chart Link settings have been completed ... you can copy the same "iframe" HTML snippet using the copy button shortcut as highlighted here.  This will be used in the following section in the Notion site.

On the Notion.so Page where you want to Embed the Chart.

We added a new page in Notion and called it New Test Page.

Typing "/embed" will bring up a scrollable dialog box with they types of items that can be embedded ... select "Embed - For PDF's, Google Maps and more." 

Paste the iFrame code that was copied from Organimi earlier in the paste field.

Click the "Embed Link" button

The chart will now show up in the iFrame area on the Notion page.   You can use the drag handles on the window to maximize the frame that bounds the chat for maximum usability.
