15Five Integration

Integrate with 15Five to import people and automatically build your org chart(s) in minutes.

You can keep your org charts automatically up to date, which means that as your 15Five system is updated, your org chart is also updated. Organimi will import all information including their name, title, department, email, manager's name, etc.

Please note: If people are removed from the HR system or Directory system that is the source of the integration then they will no longer appear in the chart that is created / updated. However they will remain in the Talent Pool. The people will then need to be removed manually from the Talent Pool using the Cleanup Tool which can be run manually to identify all people who are in the Talent Pool under unassigned section to find the people who are no longer in any of the charts and can then be deleted in bulk.

Organimi checks for changes in org charts every 4 hours to keep the charts up to date. Users can manually run the integrations anytime by clicking "Run Integrations" from the settings.

There are a few things to be aware of when running the 15five / Organimi integration.

• The 15Five API requires us to retrieve the person and postion details 1 at a time ... and the API throttles the endpoint call frequency to 5 calls per second ... so this translates to the integration running time linearly with the number of people that are being synchronized ... so that it processes about 300 people per minute or so the running spinner will be displayed during this time but there is not any progress feedback in this initial version.

• The integration will be limited to about 4500 people as our integration processes will time out at 15 minutes.

• The integration does not currently resolve "group" membership in 15five ... as this is a separate API ... if "group" membership is needed then this could be added to the integration.

• Avatar / user photos are not available from the 15five API so there is no photo integration available but photos can be bulk imported from a zip file, if available.

Setup Instructions

1. From your dashboard, select Integrations.
2. Select the 15Five tile.
   
   
3. Click Get Started.
4. Enter the API key and the 15Five domain and click Connect

New chart integration

1. Click +New chart integration.
2. Type the chart name.
3. Keep chart in sync checks to update changes detected in the 15Five system.   
4. Click SETUP.     
   
   
5. Put a checkmark next to items you do not wish to import. Click NEXT.       
   
   
6. Auto build departments to add departments as role cards and auto-detect assistant roles.  Click NEXT.        
   
   
7. Under Important fields to build chart, map ID Field to ID and Manager Field to Reviewer ID. After selecting these fields, click NEXT.
8. Match required fields from the 15Five to Organimi columns. Click DONE.        
   
   
9. Click Submit and Confirm to generate the chart.

   Note:

   • Organimi synchronizes charts every 4 hours, detects changes in the 15Five HRIS system, and updates the charts.
   • Click REFRESH LOGS to manually refresh the logs.       
10. Click +NEW ROSTER INTEGRATION to keep the roster in synch respectively (Runs once every 24 hours by default).
11. To delete the integration click Settings ->Delete Integration.
12. Enable sync toggles to keep the integration in sync.
13. Set up email notifications to check the success or failure of the integration.

Selective Sync

The synced integrated charts are in sync with the source data which keeps the charts up-to-date.

• The fields mapped during the last step (synced fields) of the integration setup cannot be edited while the sync is enabled. These fields are locked represented by a lock icon in the Update Role Dialog.
