Integrate with Google Workspace to import people into your organization and automatically build your org chart.
Organimi imports all information attached to the person including their photo, name, email address, department, manager, job title, job description, cost center, building ID, floor location, floor section, and all Custom Attributes that you have set up in Google Workspace. (These can be mapped to custom fields in Organimi)
Please note: If people are removed from the HR system or Directory system that is the source of the integration then they will no longer appear in the chart that is created / updated. However they will remain in the Talent Pool. The people will then need to be removed manually from the Talent Pool using the Cleanup Tool which can be run manually to identify all people who are in the Talent Pool under unassigned section to find the people who are no longer in any of the charts and can then be deleted in bulk.
Organimi checks for changes in org charts every 4 hours to keep the charts up to date. User can manually run the integrations anytime by clicking "Run Integrations" from the settings.
You must have an account that has permission to:
- View organization units on your domain
- Read-only permission to read all users in your Google Workspace directory
For IT staff, the following scopes are required:

- From your dashboard, select Integrations.
2. Click the Google Workspace integration tile.
3. In the field, Select an Organization:

- Click the dropdown arrow to choose an organization
- Click Select

4. Click Get Started.
5. On the Authentication screen, Choose an account to continue to Organimi Import Utility, select an email account, or click Use another account.
6. On the access permissions screen, Organimi Import Utility wants to access your Google Account, click Allow.
7. You can do any of the following, click:

- New Chart Integration to integrate a new chart
- New Roster Integration to integrate a new poster. Sync your people roster every 24 hrs
- New Photo Integration to integrate new photos. Sync your people photos every 24 hrs
- Re-authenticate to switch accounts and set up integrations for a different account
- Disconnect to delete any chart integration to ONLY remove the chart from the integration. The data remains
- Refresh Logs to view recent chart updates
- Toggle the Sync Enabled button to enable or disable automatic chart updates
- Send Notifications for Successful Updates OR Send Notifications for Integration Fails to receive email status updates
Integrate a new chart
- Click NEW CHART INTEGRATION.
- In the Chart field, type a name for the chart

Click to put a checkmark in the Keep chart in sync checkbox to synch with Google Workspace files (synch runs every hour)

Click SETUP
- To apply filters:
- Click to put a checkmark in the Include all org units checkbox to import all units in the organization
- Put a checkmark in the required department, companies, and Org units checkboxes that you wish to include in the import
- Click APPLY FILTER
- Click the appropriate checkboxes to exclude certain users from the import.
- Use the auto-build function to customize your integration.
- To detect assistant roles, put a checkmark in the Automatically detect assistant roles checkbox
- To insert department roles, put a checkmark in the Auto insert department roles in chart checkbox
- To import the required fields, click EDIT.
- Check that fields you wish to import appear on the screen
- Click the down arrow in each field to include or exclude certain fields
- Click DONE
- Click Next to exit the screen
- Click SUBMIT.
The integrated chart appears.
Selective Sync
The synced integrated charts are in sync with the source data which keeps the charts up-to-date.
- The fields mapped during the last step (synced fields) of the integration setup cannot be edited while the sync is enabled. These fields are locked represented by a lock icon in the Update Role Dialog.
- All the other fields can be edited

Hi Team, when it says to sign in with an email account, can we use a GCP service account? If so, what specific setup would work best?
