Use governance charts (or board of directors charts) to document and display the governance structure of an organization in a transparent fashion.
Governance structures can be oversight bodies such as a board of directors for a company, a board of trustees for an educational institution, an executive committee for a not-for-profit organization, or a city council for a municipality.
Governance bodies can also be groups within an organization that have been established to monitor a specific function or area of operations from an organizational point of view, such as enterprise risk management, data, and systems governance, or employee equity and affirmative action programs.
Organimi's governance charts are significantly different from other charts. Organimi designed governance charts to capture the structure common to most boards that are made up of members and committees.
