After you have created your organization, you can build your organization chart by adding roles.
In Organimi, you can choose from six (6) different role types. For more information, see Different role card types.
- Determine the following:
- The type of role you wish to create
- In which org chart to put the role
- Where in the chart to add the role
- Whether the role will be vacant
- Open the org chart.
- Hover your mouse over the role card.
- Click the right or left plus sign (+) to add a parallel role OR click the bottom plus sign (+) to add a subordinate role.
5. In the New Role screen, choose the role type.
6. In the Quantity field, click the up or down arrows to add the number of roles you wish to create.
7. In the Role Title field, add a title for the new role.
8. Click the Enter More Information link to add more role details.
9. To create a vacant role, click the Role is Vacant toggle button. For information on how to create a vacant role, see How to create a vacant role.
10. To add people to the role, click in the Search People field and select a name from your organization's talent pool OR to create a new name, click +New.
11. Click Save.
