An organizational chart is built with people and roles.
You define the roles in the chart and assign people to those roles.
People are part of an organization. They can be an employee, volunteer, school nurse, or anyone in an organization.
People are listed in the organization's Talent Pool. You can drag and drop people from the Talent Pool to a role card (job).
A role is a position or job that people in an organization hold, such as:
- CEO
- Director
- Financial Analyst
- Customer Service Manager
You can assign one or multiple roles to people and change their role at any time. People's profile data stays with them as they move between roles.
The job title describes the role.
Example: The person's name is Jane Smith, and her role is Vice President.
Example: The person's name is Jane Smith, and her role is Vice President.
