Track and control changes to your charts by exporting them to other cloud storage platforms like Google Drive. See changes made and keep track of who made the changes. You’ll have options to upload a new version from your computer, delete old versions, restore an earlier version, or download a version to your computer.
- To make a copy of the chart, from your dashboard, put a checkmark next to the chart and click Duplicate.
- In the New Chart Name field, click the pencil icon to give the chart a unique name. e.g. [DDMMYY-author's initial] 020821-VP.
- Click the More Options link to customize the chart layout.
- Click Copy Chart.
- Click Export.
- In the Export Type field, select the PDF/PNG/PPT radio button.
- Click Export.
8. In the Setup tab, select the following and click Print to File.
- Chart
- Entire File
- Image (PNG) 9. Select Download File.
10. In Google Drive, create a folder. e.g. Organizational Chart Versioning & Archive.
11. Type the folder name and click Create.
12. Set access permissions. For more details, see Google Support article.
13. Go to the Downloads folder on your device and drag and drop the file into the Google Drive folder.
Note: Changes to the original chart will NOT be reflected in the copy.
