Organimi will automatically build the chart hierarchy/layout within each team for profiles with the Manager field defined.
Please note: If people are removed from the HR system or Directory system that is the source of the integration then they will no longer appear in the chart that is created / updated. However they will remain in the Talent Pool. The people will then need to be removed manually from the Talent Pool using the Cleanup Tool which can be run manually to identify all people who are in the Talent Pool under unassigned section to find the people who are no longer in any of the charts and can then be deleted in bulk.
You must be an Administrator on Organimi to use the integration feature.
Organimi checks for changes in org charts every 4 hours to keep the charts up to date. User can manually run the integrations anytime by clicking "Run Integrations" from the settings.
- From your dashboard, select Integrations.
- Click Microsoft Teams
- Click Get Started.
- On the Microsoft authentication screen, type your email address and password.
Integrate a new chart
- Click +NEW CHART INTEGRATION.
- In the Chart field, type a name for the chart.
- Click to put a checkmark in the Keep chart in sync checkbox to synch with Gsuite files (synch runs every hour).
- Click SETUP
- Review the Integration Source Overview.
Apply Data Filters

- Click Edit.
- Put a checkmark in the checkbox next to the department that you wish to include in the import OR click the Include All Departments checkbox to select all departments.
- Put a checkmark in the checkbox next to the team that you wish to include in the import OR click the Include All Teams checkbox to select all teams.
- Click APPLY FILTER
Exclusions
- Click Edit.
- Put a checkmark in checkboxes next to entries you do not wish to import.
- Click Next to exit the screen.
Auto-build Options
Use the auto-build function to customize your integration.
- Click Edit.
- Put a checkmark in the, Automatically detect assistant role checkbox to detect assistant roles.
- Put a checkmark in the Auto-insert department roles into chart checkbox.
- In the Department Field box, type the word, Department.
- Click Next to exit the screen.
Fields to be imported
Use this feature to match the fields in your import file to Organimi's fields.
- Click Edit.
- Click Match Data Fields.
- Check that fields you wish to import appear on the screen.
- Click the down arrow in each field to include or exclude certain fields.
- Click Done.
- Click Submit.
- Click Confirm to save the integration.
The integrated chart appears.
Selective Sync
The synced integrated charts are in sync with the source data which keeps the charts up-to-date.
- The fields mapped during the last step (synced fields) of the integration setup cannot be edited while the sync is enabled. These fields are locked represented by a lock icon in the Update Role Dialog.
- All the other fields can be edited
