How to create sub-charts (Alias Charts) from the main chart

Feature Highlights

• The sub-charts are the part of the main chart.Changes made in the sub-chart will also be reflected in the main chart and vice-Versa.
• Users can work independently in the sub chart
• Users cannot visit the sub-chart from the main chart through the public link and iframe link.They can be shared independently.
• Visit Main is not present in the sub-chart’s Print preview and PDF
• Sub-Charts cannot be duplicated
• Users can create only one sub-chart from a role card
• Manual pagination is not supported for alias charts. Please use the main chart to paginate manually.
• Duplicating the main chart will not copy the links to the sub-chart

Step 1

Click Link to subchart from the role card to create an Alias from the main chart

Step 2

Edit the name of the chart and click Create Link to create the sub-chart.

A sub-chart will be created and an icon representing the link to the sub-chart will appear on the role card.

In order to go back to the main chart, click on Visit Main.

Delete Sub-charts

In order to delete a sub-chart (Alias chart), simply go to the dashboard->click on the checkbox next to the sub-chart and click Delete. After deleting the chart, the link icon will disappear from the role card in the main chart.
